What is Pilates?

And why is it right for me?

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the core muscles, improving flexibility and posture, and increasing body awareness. Some potential benefits of Pilates include:

Improved flexibility: Pilates exercises can help improve flexibility in the hips, legs, and spine.

Stronger core: Pilates focuses on strengthening the deep, stabilizing muscles of the core, which can help improve posture and reduce the risk of back pain.

Better balance: Pilates exercises often involve balancing on one leg or on unstable surfaces, which can help improve balance and coordination.

Enhanced muscle control: Pilates involves precise movements and controlled breathing, which can help improve muscle control and coordination.

Stress relief: Pilates can be a relaxing and mindful form of exercise, which can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
