FAQ
How much does it cost?
Classes cost £10. Payment is made by term, so a 6-week term will cost £60.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is amply free parking along King Street.
Do you do 1:1 sessions?
Yes. These are held at the Dyer St Clinic as part of Alastair's work there. Sessions can be booked via the Dyer St website or by phoning the clinic.
Where exactly are the classes?
The classes are in Bingham Studio, beside Bingham Hall. Just to the right of the main hall and opposite the entrance to St. Michael's Park you will see the large french doors leading into the studio. To get in, follow the path along the right hand side of the building and the entrance is round the back. Once inside the toilet is on your right and we are on the left. There is a room behind the main studio where you can come in, wait for the previous class to finish and leave your coat, shoes etc.
Do I need to bring anything?
You just need to bring a mat and wear clothes you are comfortable moving and stretching in. All small equipment is provided including head cushions, small balls and spiky balls. You may wish to bring your own cover for the head cushions as they are used throughout the week.
Do you do any kind of screening?
Yes. Everyone has an assessment when they begin. This takes 30 mins and is held at Dyer St Clinic. The assessment involves a chat about medical history, injury history and goals etc. then a brief movement assessment before going through the 5 key elements of Pilates. This costs £20 or £30 for couples who wish to be assessed together.
